GREENWAY MANOR HOTEL

The Greenway Manor Hotel is a perfectly charming manor house dating back to 1730. The main manor house sits within 18 acres of beautiful gardens ideal for relaxing and absorbing the ambiance and beauty of the manor and surrounding area.

The house itself was built in 1730 for the Bishop of Waterford at the time and became the official residence of successive incumbents. The last Bishop to live here was Bishop Miller and he bought it from the church as a private residence. He lived in the house for some time, when it was known as Woodstone.

The long driveway leading to the Manor sets the scene as you enter into a wonderful old house with large open fire places the charming restaurant and cosy bar. The location is perfect for business and holiday clients alike being totally secluded yet only a few short miles from Waterford’s vibrant city centre with its many restaurants bars clubs and theatres.

A short drive in the opposite direction to town leads to beautiful sandy coves and breathtaking mountain views. We look forward to welcoming you to Greenway Manor Hotel.
